For local food shoppers, the origins of the food can play a significant part in creating a successful business. This event will highlight the diversity of local food, drink and beer that is available in the town and surrounding areas.

Restaurants, Pubs etc use local suppliers who produce the most excellent quality and seasonal ingredients from the regional areas, adding authenticity and integrity to any dining or drinking experience. Various foods, drink and beer producers are attending, tempting new buyers with samples and information.

Ellesmere Chamber of Commerce supports the Food and Drink festival as an important event in its ‘festivals' calendar for 2007. The chamber aims to give everyone the opportunity to get involved and works with partner organisations.

The aim is to showcase the wide range of locally produced food and drink to trade buyers from the hospitality and independent retail sectors, including restaurants, hotels, and shops.
